20 homeless artists hold art exhibition in London

Twenty artists who are homeless or have been homeless are holding an exhibition in the Hampstead School of Art, opening on Tuesday 5 March 2019.

Two hundred single use cameras were given to people who are homeless, or have recently been homeless in London and Brighton in June. The results are two beautiful calendars which will be sold by the photographers.

Professional photographers and representatives from London's homelessness sector community chose the MyLondon exhibition yesterday in preparation for the annual exhibition and calendar. The social enterprise engaged 105 people affected by homelessness in the first week of July when they picked up disposable cameras and took photos of London over five days.

The official launch of the MyLondon calendar by photographers affected by homelessness. The exhibition includes the Top 20 photos and a photo wall of more than 400 photos taken in the contest as chosen by the photographers. We also will be holding an arts market featuring more than 20 artists from homelessness charities. 1pm start for award ceremony / calendar launch.

100 disposable cameras given to people affected by homelessness at St Paul's Cathedral. Starting at 12.15, ending at 1pm. Participants will be given a reminder about how to use the contest camera. The brief is simple: the theme is My London. Cameras will be returned to the same place on Wednesday 6 July. The exhibition will be chosen in the same place on Wednesday 20 July.
